Floods

Hi everyone,

I was watching the news via the internet (no tv) and I am still amazed at the extent of these floods. I was thinking about all the people who are effected by it all, especially those who have no insurance against this and the families. I thought about an idea to raise some money for a fund to help (every little helps), using our talents.

The idea is simply this. A comic to be sold to raise money and awareness. But I need your help. Would any of you be able to produce a one page story or illustration in which ever format you like?

The only requirement is to use the theme "Flood".

If you are interested and want to get involved, let me know and we can start getting it off the ground.

Let me know what you think. Once we get it started we can then start promoting it to the various news agencies to gain more awareness!

Btw, if this is going to be like an anthology I'd say add Ivan Brandon as a friend. He put together the 24/7 anthology the past 2 years. He'd be a good resource to talk to to about multiple artist/writer collabortions.

Ah, what the heck? Reckon I could write a short script based along the Floods theme. Me and Tony's latest comic was pretty much all about ecological disasters of one kind or another (though with the occassional mutant, explosion and gunfight thrown in for good measure)- typically, floods was the one subject I forgot to tackle.

I'll need to find one of them artist lads to draw it though (since I can only draw static corpses, or suicidal blue guys). Any takers? If not, I'll put the word out on the Temple site again.

Remember, you can do just an illustration too.... Flood is quite an open ended word... many implications... flood of water, flood of information, flood of people etc.....

I wrote 2 versions of a script. I forgot it was supposed to be an one pager! Idiot. :) I did write 2 pages. So I cut it down to one. It's straight forward.

Let me know how can I pass the script over to you? I thought I saw an email contact around here where I could email it. Maybe it's my imagination.
