Any idea when those of us on subscriptions will receive issue no.2?

Thanks John.

What will the price of Strip be?
Comment by John Freeman on June 9, 2011 at 6:57
Yes, we'll be doing subscriptions but it's my understanding that we can't offer these until product is available, given the obligatory 28 day fulfilment of supply of goods in the UK? Although I did notice that Titan started advertising subscriptions to Family Guy in April when it first announced that (for US readers)

Someone was just asking me about subscriptions to Strip and if they are curious I'm sure other people are. Any information on this?

I was just reading that Cameron's Big New Idea for innovation is slackening the copyright laws, you'd think it'd an idea to break the big monopolies and let innovation thrive (and perhaps get the banks to start offering credit to small businesses again) but I suspect that might not suit him quite so much ;)

Like every other walk of life in the UK it isn't 'red tape' that prevents startups from getting off the ground, it's the high costs imposed by established private infrastructure. IMHO.

"You'd be amazed how easy it is to get a magazine going in Bosnia - apparently newsagents there want to sell magazines as opposed to distributors charging you a fortune to get them onto shelves."

It sounds like they want to sells comics and magazines, rather than gouge publishers!! What a fanciful notion, it'll never catch on.

It is sad to here - there is a lot of talent out there but you are never going to see any kind of renaissance if the gatekeepers keeping slamming the door in people's faces. :(
