Comment by George Shiers on January 23, 2012 at 20:56: Yes, the raiding started in issue two (the cover used for the pages profile picture). I havent read my first issue for a while but i think they may have announced it then, if not in the second issue.

I've never read a Shiver and Shake comic, but some of the earlier annuals did have the two seperate comics - just like the whizzer and chips annuals. I was very dissapointed theat the two comics merged on themselves (so to speak), only to end a few years later.

Comment by John Freeman on January 22, 2012 at 9:36: Like 'Shiver and Shake', the idea of two comics in one, both with rival fans, was great fun. I loved the issues where one comic woul 'raid' the pages of the other. Not as full on anarchic as some of the Oddhams titles but the comic had its moments!
