We're hosting this years 24 Hour Comic Book Day in the shop which involves participants coming into the shop for 24 hours and needing to create a 24 page comic book in that time.
If you're interested in taking part have a look at the 2 attachment...
Menzies apparently require £1800 deposit... Rules that avenue out then as I would doubt I'll be getting THAT volume of stock via them.
The WH Smith point reminded me of Menzies Distribution so I've just sent them an email. Ta!
I spoke to DC Thomson before and they said that if I was either also taking newspapers (not planning on it) or happy to collect my order from a newsagent then they would be happy to work with me.

I haven't actually opened yet, lease should be signed this week though with a view to opening in June.
The Beano is an interesting one as I spoke with DC Thomson about that and they said that unless I was selling Newspapers they couldn't sell me ...

- Favourite TV Shows:
- Mainly Sci-Fi stuff like Stargate and Star Trek. Also enjoy Buffy/Angel and a whole host of other things.
Shows not in the Fantasy/Sci-Fi genre include West Wing, CSI, Daily Show with John Stewart and various others.
Lately I've been watching a lot of kids TV though along with my daughter. Little Einsteins especially.
