one of the books i have enjoyed a great deal this year has been Thor by J.M Straczynski, Olivier Coipel, Laura Martin fantastic stories with wonderful art full of grace and power and beauty.
i bought a poster by Olivier Coipel by Marvel it's printed on plastic and it's so huge i don't know where i'm going to put it ,but here's the image of it as you can see it has over tones of Lord of the Rings about it, personally i can't wait to see the Kenneth Branagh Marvel movie slated for 2011

HELLBOY DARKNESS CALLS TPB DARK HORSE
I read over the weekend Darkness Calls Hellboy tpb published by Dark Horse a wonderful book with a great story by Mike Mignola (who also provided covers)great art work by Duncan Fegredo and Dave Stewart on colours this story had it all giants, dead armies, wood spirits, faeries, witches it really was a joy to read and everyone who worked on the book did a brilliant job
a gem of a book highly recommended
