Script Frenzy

Script Frenzy starts in a few days - it is the NaNoWriMo of comics (and plays and screenplays), so is a good excuse to get a solid slab of script under one's belt. I signed up last year but events rather torpedoed my plans but I am in a good situation script-wise so really want to go for it this year.Anyway this is me over there, if anyone else is going for this.See More

Comics Heroes are looking for small press comics to review

Posted on August 20, 2011 at 15:15 0 Comments

A pretty decent offer from Comics Heroes (although to be honest they don't have to look too far for coverage as DTT and the FP blog mention a lot of small press work):

For all we know, there could be tons of creators out there, toiling away in the shadows, proving that comics can do more than find creative new shapes for spandex. The small press is the life blood of the…

I'm on there, so is John Freeman and if anyone else wants an invitation to Google's social networking site then drop a note in here, I'm preparing batches of invites so adding someone else isn't a problem (although they are usually backdoor invites but they seem to work OK, it is just that Google are restricting the number of people signing up, so it…

Hey Emperor, thanks for the message, we are going to post our (official cry for help) real soon, however we are looking for an artist to work on our GN which is a fantasy story, we have already completed just over half of the artwork, and now need an artist to complete the 2nd half of the story, also looking for a cover artist.

It would be paid work however we do have limited funds, also looking at picking someones brains on how we go about publishing, with who, likely costs etc . Will put more in the official post, any advise or people you can recommend would be greatly appreciated.

Hail Emperor!

Good to see a familiar face here- it's hard keeping up with all these forums! I tend to join them just as everyone else is abandoning them for the latest 'in' forum.

Or maybe it's me joining that causes the exodus!
