About Me:
I'm a comics and features writer who has worked in comics and magazine publishing in the UK for over 20 years. My current comics projects include Ex Astris with Mike Nicoll and The Really Heavy Greatcoat with Nick Miller, plus a few other things "under the radar" as of January 2009. I'm also webmaster for the British comics web site downthetubes.net

Until October 2008 I was Managing Editor of ROK Comics, which enables comics creators to create or adapt their strips for mobile phones, which can be delivered worldwide through WAP subscription and single downloads -- potentially reaching a much bigger audience than that for web-based comics. The service is still operating at present.

In the past I've written strips for various companies such as Marvel, Fleetway, Lucky Bag and commercial companies seeking to use comics as a promotional device. I've also edited various magazines including the official Babylon 5, Doctor Who, Star Trek and Star Wars Magazines.

My British comics news and features web site, downthetubes.net, web site features news about British comics and a comics writing guide.

Favourite British Comic
Sparky
Favourite TV Shows:
Doctor Who, Star Trek, Heroes, Smallville, The Clangers, Catweazle... oh let's be honest, I'm a sucker for SF and fantasy TV

Hi, I was invited by Dave Windett, who is one of our magazine illustrators, and I came to see your Moon Landing Anniversary, yes. Feel free to use anything I post here. I'll invite some more space/sci-fi artists as well. Godspeed!

Thanks John, and thanks for the invite. Love the 2000AD commercial. I remember seeing that when I was younger than my eldest daughter is now, ah such happy memories.

Cheers John. Print quality wasn't up to much so I think it came out a bit dark - but Dave seemed pleased. `twas a good review that you gave for it as well.
