I suppose Dave thought it was a nice, fun cover, and maybe wanted to do a 'what if', imagining what it would've been like if I'd inked it~ a sort of 'classic' Wildman/Baskerville collaboration that never was. Plus, Marvel UK original art seems hard…

Yes, Andrew, they were your original inks on the cover, and very nice they were, too. (I didn't actually know who'd done the cover when I agreed to do the commission, but then I saw you trademark signature when I came to ink it. Hope you don't mind.…

About Me:
Best known (if at all!), for my inking work in the 1990's particularly over Alex Saviuk on Web of Spider-Man and Andrew Wildman on GI Joe and Transformers, I also did lots of other comics stuff, including inks for JLA, Hitch-hikers Guide To The Galaxy and Judge Dredd, as well as co-creating 2 strips for The Beano. My current job is as a videogame concept artist, and games I've worked on include Reservoir Dogs and SpongeBob Squarepants.
