Detonate the Smart Bomb!!
Hi all,
I've not been here very long but I thought I'd use Mr.Freeman's idea of using the blog to 'big up' your projects to do just that. Hope you don't mind.
This is something I've just finished with a group of friends and it's called Smart Bomb!! We're all in the UK and just fancied doing something for the, well... sake of doing it really. It's a 40 page, full-colour anthology comic which hangs everything off of a video game theme. It's all-ages as, personally, I'm really not into a lot of the grimness and 'it's for adults'-ness that's around these days and is really just a bit of silly fun.
We've had some copies printed but in the great new internet business model of FREE you can take a look, online, for nowt. Of course, the actual things are much nicer to have than just reading off of the screen :)
Anyways, should you find yourself at a loose end and fancy taking a gander, everything's at our little blog page - HERE!
It's not high art and it certainly ain't great literature but, hopefully it's a bit of a laugh and slightly different from a lot of what's about. Let me know what you think.

Comment by The Emperor on October 17, 2009 at 4:42am - I don't have much time at the moment but the art and general design is top notch across the board and all the stories seem solid (although I will return and have a proper read through when time allows). As a package it wouldn't be out of place on the newsagents shelves and it trumps a lot of those which offer much thinner fare!! So good job all round.
