New comics and some articles (including freebies)

OK, a new batch of goodies are available.

First I have stories in 3 of FutureQuake Press' autumn batch of titles:

* "Brigand Doom: Crunch" with Chris Geary in Zarjaz #8
* "Sun & Moon Hunters of Bounty: Springheeled Jackboots" with James Feist (art) and Bolt-01 (letters) in Dogreath #21
* "Inseminhate" with Paul Williams (pencils and inks), Steven Denton (colours) and Bolt-01 (letters) in Something Wicked #5

All of which (plus the latest FutureQuake) can be purchased from the FutureQuake Press shop and full details of the contents can also be found through my comicbookdb listing.

You can also see the Ganesh/Sun & Moon crossover sketch from Bolt-01 - it was almost inevitable that the stars of two series I'm writing would meet up. The next Paragon is coming along and should be out by Christmas.

In other news I have an article in Darklore 4, not a comic but John Reppion also has an piece in it, so it is comic-related. The added bonus is my article (on the links between science-fiction, the occult and flying saucers) is one the free samples so you can read it all by downloading this PDF. However, it is well worth reading the whole book as it is an eclectic mix from some of the experts in their field (and me ;) ). My contribution to Darklore 2 (on strange clouds) is also available as a free PDF.

Also falling into the comics-related category today sees the launch of The End is Nigh 4, which is the magazine of the apocalypse with contributions from a range of people including a lot from the British comics scene, for example Leigh Gallagher has provided a stunning cover. Details on buying it can be found on the main TEIN site, where you can also download previous issues, which I have also contributed to.

So a lot of reading for you there - better get it done quickly, the world could end anytime (depending on who you talk to, of course)!!

The first review of TEIN #4:

"The End is Nigh #4 is a brilliantly put together piece of work, full of insightful, thought provoking pieces that look not only look at the coming of the end times, but also why mankind has always been so eager to predict the end of days. Michael Molcher has put together a fantastic group of writers and artists for this issue of the magazine, and does a top-notch job of putting the whole package together into a fantastic, professional looking publication that is befitting of the extraordinary content between its covers.

The End Is Nigh #4 rings in at a massive 52 pages, and is packed full of articles, interviews, comic strips, facts & figures, and even an apocalypse card game! There should be enough content within the pages of this prophetical publication to keep you going till at least the next apocalypse, or maybe the one after that!
