Unico Collections
[RELEASED NOW] The UNICO COLLECTIONS volumes were started by UNICO COMICS and the AMATEUR COMICS GUILD and put together an amateur only comic book open to any artist or writer from across the UK who felt they were up to the challenge to make their own comic. This was to give the opportunity to those who want to break out into the comic world and will be given a chance to show their talent through this anthology and give them that rare first step on to the small press network.
The anthology is full of original storeys and characters shown in high grade black and white or coloured printing. Each comic is between 4 or 14 pages in length and cover any genre. Comicsvillage.com said of the work…

Uncle Tickle
[RELEASED NOW] Once upon a time there was a beloved TV kid’s show host named Uncle Tickle. When his show was cancelled after many seasons he lost his mind and killed everyone in the studio as it was filmed in during his live TV finale. Now he travels the country dispensing his own sickly humorous brand of retribution to all the bad little boys and girls while making special friends with the police along the way.
Uncle Tickle has come to UNICO COMICS through its Unico Publishing programme. This is a 22 page black and white comic created by the team of Ken L. Jones & Kevin L. Jones (writers), Jag Lall (Pencils, Inks and Story) and Tom Luth (Lettering) is a must read Horror comic.

The world has changed, Governments have fallen, and society is holed up in the ruins of whatever cities are left. In a small city in New England an 8-year-old Thomas, his mother and his sister Katie reside like everyone else with their lives in fear of the gangs that roam what is left of the cities until an unnamed hero enters their lives.
This is a superhero comic with a twist. It’s from the complete perspective of the citizens within the settlement instead of the hero. It shows how people react to an unknown person saving their lives and not knowing anything about him.
Issue One is a 22 page full colour high quality comic from Unico Comic’s Michael Burness (Creator & Writer) and Steven Howard (Co-Creator & Artwork) and is a must read addition to the world of indy comics.
