I'm not sure if I would be classify myself as a creator or just a wannabe creator at the moment - I'm one of the legions of writers constantly in search of artists! I'm currently running a small number of projects with artwork at various stages of completion. At present I'm posting my work at my website Broken Voice Comics and my plan has been to approach publishers only after the artwork on a project is complete.
As for the "Granta" idea, I suppose the answer is I could be interested. I really only threw that idea out there as part of the brainstorming session, but I do believe it could work (or at least have a better chance of working than a weekly or monthly pamphlet style publication). Sadly, I have no contacts of my own within the industry and so, if this kind of an idea was to fly, it would be necessary to involve others who could provide that.
Funds and time being in short supply (and having experienced how notoriously unreliable comics enthusiasts can be!) I'd have to remain cautious for the time being, but I'm certainly interested in discussing it further. Please feel free to email me direct at edit_bvc@yahoo.co.uk.

Take care,
