Thanks, Edd. Yes, I know Vince (just slightly). I love his artwork. Look up Ariel Press, York on the net. Sure he's on there somewhere! Yes, Chester has the Roman walls, etc. Smaller than York, but quite similar.
I like York. I lived in Chester for 15 years, which has a similar feel. Do you know Vince Danks? He's in York, and is a fantastic artist - 'Sapphire', etc.
Hi Edd -- you're our 80th member, welcome aboard! I had a look at your artwork (your web site seemed to take a while to load -- perhaps you have uploaded large images?) and I particularly liked the Global Warming cartoon.
On the comic strip, you're on your way with your art -- I think the storytelling is instinctively in the right ballpark but there's still work to do on page layouts and framing (characters shouldn't sit or stand on frame edges and it's best to have space between panels, don't butt them together).
Still, I'm guessing you know all this already and are here to pick our brains and see what else is out there. I like your sense of humour and look forward to seeing your York-based hero, too!
