Hi Everyone,
Been a while. I have just recovered from this horrible virus - I am close to the finishing with FLOOD. If anyone is still interested in drawing an illustration for it please email me. The final deadline is 31st January. This is a last call out for anyone still interested. Thank you to everyone who has sent me pages ;)
Regards,
Adam

I was watching the news via the internet (no tv) and I am still amazed at the extent of these floods. I was thinking about all the people who are effected by it all, especially those who have no insurance against this and the families. I thought about an idea to raise some money for a fund to help (every little helps), using our talents.
The idea is simply this. A comic to be sold to raise money and awareness. But I need your help. Would any of you be able to produce a one page story or illustration in which ever format you like?
The only requirement is to use the theme "Flood".
If you are interested and want to get involved, let me know and we can start getting it off the ground.
Let me know what you think. Once we get it started we can then start promoting it to the various news agencies to gain more awareness!

I'm more up on the historical Canadian scene than the modern but I'll see if I can put together a set of links to current websites of interest. Most of the (Anglo-Saxon) cartoonists of WWII and before were either emigrants from Britain or second generation children of same. My own old man was a Brit who moved here in the twentiesand married a home-grown B. C. girl.
