'Soon after Britain’s flooding last year, Bangladesh suffered its own disaster which, although by no means as bad as previous cataclysms, saw the deaths of 298 people died and a total of (1,02,11,780) people badly affected by it.

Confused on this figure (1,02,11,780)?

Be good to get some of these sorted for ROK, now I have the time. Which is the best way to do it? Cut up into separate panels, then place in a folder and forward on - or can I upload to ROK comics once done this end?

Hi everyone,

I was watching the news via the internet (no tv) and I am still amazed at the extent of these floods. I was thinking about all the people who are effected by it all, especially those who have no insurance against this and the families. I thought about an idea to raise some money for a fund to help (every little helps), using our talents.

The idea is simply this. A comic to be sold to raise money and awareness. But I need your help. Would any of you be able to produce a one page story or illustration in which ever format you like?

The only requirement is to use the theme "Flood".

If you are interested and want to get involved, let me know and we can start getting it off the ground.

Let me know what you think. Once we get it started we can then start promoting it to the various news agencies to gain more awareness!

Hi Adam,
I'm more up on the historical Canadian scene than the modern but I'll see if I can put together a set of links to current websites of interest. Most of the (Anglo-Saxon) cartoonists of WWII and before were either emigrants from Britain or second generation children of same. My own old man was a Brit who moved here in the twentiesand married a home-grown B. C. girl.

Cheers John. Sorting out some images at the mo. Some banners and Logos for anyone who would like to help spread the word on their websites. In return I will do the same. So, anyone want to send me some banners etc... I would be more than happy to place on my site, as it is going through a re-construction at the mo.

Peace xx
